GenosPro

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how GenosPro ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our canine pedigree, genetics, breeding management, kennel, and marketplace platform (the "Service"). By using GenosPro, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use GenosPro, the information we may collect includes:

Account and profile information — your name, email address, and password you provide when you register, plus profile details you choose to add such as your kennel name, country, and display photo.

Dog and pedigree data — records you create or link in the global database and in your private plantel (kennel inventory), such as dog names, registered names, sex, breed, variety, birth date, microchip, registration number, breeder name, kennel name, parents (sire/dam), profile photos, titles, and genetic/biometric measurements (weight, height, head and body measurements, bite type).

Breeding and kennel management data — breeding plans, test matings, litters (camadas), heat cycles (celos), stud services, puppy and adult marketplace listings, and the photos, descriptions, prices, and availability countries you publish.

Ownership and claims — ownership claim requests you submit (relationship type, explanation, registration number, supporting documents) and the audit records generated when dog records are edited or ownership is transferred.

Direct messages — the content of messages you exchange with other GenosPro users through the in-app direct messaging feature.

Data sharing requests — requests you send to other users to share biometric data, and your responses to requests you receive.

Billing and subscription data — your subscription plan, billing cycle, payment status, and payment-provider identifiers associated with the provider that processes your purchase, such as Mercado Pago or an international payment provider. We do not store your full card numbers; payment card and wallet data is handled by the applicable payment provider.

Usage and technical data — device information, browser type, pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, and records of feature usage and usage limits, used to operate, secure, and improve the service and to enforce your plan entitlements.

User-uploaded files — profile photos, market listing photos, and supporting documents you upload, which are stored to display them and, where applicable, to generate shareable social preview images.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide, operate, and maintain the GenosPro platform: to create and manage your account, display pedigrees and genetic analyses (COI, AVK, relationship and mean kinship coefficients), manage your kennel inventory and breeding plans, publish and browse marketplace listings, and enable direct messaging and data sharing between users.

To process subscriptions and recurring payments through the applicable payment provider, manage your plan entitlements, and send you billing and subscription notifications.

To verify ownership of dog records, process ownership claims and transfers, and maintain audit trails of edits to the global database.

To detect and prevent duplicate dog records, fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access, and to enforce our terms of use.

To communicate with you about your account, security, policy changes, and support requests.

To generate aggregated, de-identified analytics about how the platform is used so we can improve features and performance.

3. Optional Google Account and Gmail Sending Access

GenosPro may offer an optional feature to request information about ABKC competition points by sending a prefilled email from a Google account you explicitly connect. Authorization is separate from signing in to GenosPro; it is requested only if you choose to use this feature.

When you authorize this feature, we request only your Google account email address (to verify that you connected the same account you use with GenosPro) and the Gmail permission to send emails on your behalf (gmail.send). We do not request Gmail inbox-reading, message-editing, label-management, or Gmail settings permissions.

Emails are sent only after an action that you initiate. A request may include the dog's name, ABKC registration number and the question about points and Majors, and is sent to the destination disclosed in the feature. During the private pilot, the destination is a designated test address, not ABKC. Google also processes each message as part of its Gmail service.

For this feature, GenosPro securely receives the authorization from Google and stores encrypted authorization tokens within our backend infrastructure, hosted by Base44. GenosPro uses the authorized sending token only to validate the connected Google account and send the requested message. We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, or unrelated purposes, or sell it to third parties. This use adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We may record the sender email, recipient email, dog record identifier and name, ABKC registration number, sending time, delivery-request status and Gmail message identifier for confirmation, troubleshooting and duplicate-send prevention. These records are not public. You may revoke Google's authorization at any time from your Google Account's third-party connections. For assistance deleting an association or related records, contact [email protected].

4. Cookies and Local Storage

GenosPro uses local storage and cookies to keep you signed in, remember your language preference, store your authentication session token, and keep a random first-party visitor identifier used only for aggregated unique-visitor analytics across the GenosPro website and installed app. This identifier is not a fingerprint and does not contain your name or email. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising tracking.

Authentication tokens are stored locally so you remain logged in between visits. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings, which will sign you out.

5. How We Share Your Information

Public content — dog records you mark as public, your kennel showcase, and marketplace listings (stud services, puppies, adults) are visible to other users and visitors, including the kennel name and country you choose to display. Your email is never shown publicly; contact happens through in-app direct messaging.

Between users — direct messages and data sharing requests are exchanged only between the sender and the intended recipient.

Service providers — we share data with our hosting and infrastructure providers (Base44) and with the applicable payment provider or merchant of record strictly to operate the service. Each provider processes payment and related data under its own privacy terms and policies.

Ownership verification — when an ownership claim is approved, GenosPro may link the authorized user to the relevant dog record so they can manage or edit it according to their permissions. These associations can be removed or anonymized when an account is deleted.

Legal obligations — we may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of GenosPro, our users, or others.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and dog data for as long as your account is active. Archived dogs remain in your inventory as soft-deleted records so you keep their full history.

When you delete your account, GenosPro deletes or anonymizes the associated personal data as appropriate, and removes the private records that do not need to be retained.

Certain dog records needed to maintain the Global Database, pedigrees, and historical or genetic continuity may be retained after an account is deleted. In those cases, the personal association with the deleted user is removed or anonymized.

Genealogical relationships necessary to preserve pedigrees — such as parent (sire/dam) links and pedigree structure — may be retained to avoid breaking the pedigrees of other dogs.

Audit records needed to preserve integrity and traceability may be retained in anonymized form where appropriate.

Financial records that must be kept for legal, tax, accounting, dispute resolution, or fraud-prevention obligations may be retained for the necessary period.

When you delete your account, GenosPro attempts to cancel any active recurring subscription associated with your account before completing the process. Certain transaction or payment records may be retained when required for legal, tax, accounting, dispute resolution, or fraud-prevention reasons. Payment providers process payment information in accordance with their own applicable policies.

GenosPro may retain a non-reversible, anonymized reference to your email address when necessary for security, audit integrity, or legitimate ownership verification. This reference cannot be used to contact you or reconstruct your original email.

Where preserving the integrity of a conversation or information belonging to another user requires it, certain records (such as direct messages or shared data) may be retained in anonymized form, removing the personal association of the user who deleted their account.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you. You can edit your profile and most of your dog and kennel records directly in the app.

You can delete your account through the in-app account deletion flow, which deletes or anonymizes your personal data and removes your private records as appropriate. This is available without needing to contact us.

Certain dog records in the Global Database may be retained in a de-identified or anonymized form to preserve pedigrees, genealogical relationships, and the integrity of the database. Retaining a dog record does not mean we unnecessarily retain the personal identity of the deleted user.

You can manage your subscription and cancel recurring billing at any time from the Plan & Billing page.

To exercise any other data right, contact us at the address listed in the Contact section.

8. Children's Privacy

GenosPro is a professional tool for dog breeders and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use row-level security on all sensitive data so each user can only access their own private records and the public records others have chosen to share. Authentication tokens, payment credentials, and backend secrets are handled through the platform's secure infrastructure.

No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we apply industry-standard measures to protect your data and continuously review our practices.

10. International Users

GenosPro is used by breeders worldwide. If you access the service from outside Argentina, your information may be processed on servers located in other countries. By using GenosPro, you consent to that transfer in accordance with this policy.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the 'Last updated' date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will provide a more prominent notice (such as in-app or by email). We encourage you to review this page periodically.

12. Contact

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your personal data, you can contact us at [email protected] or through the in-app support channel.

For account deletion requests, use the in-app account deletion flow first; if you need further help, contact [email protected].
